For a couple who broke up more than a year ago, Ryan Gosling and Rachel Mc Adams are spending an awful lot of time together.
The Canadian-born pair went to dinner Monday with a couple of friends in Toronto at Grace restaurant.
The Italian-Canadian co-production was filmed in Sicily when Mc Adams was 22 years old, and it marked her first time on an airplane.
Mc Adams' break-out role came in 2004, when she starred in the comedy film Mean Girls opposite Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried, based on Rosalind Wiseman's book Queen Bees and Wannabes.
She returned to prominence in 2009 by appearing in the political thriller State of Play, the science-fiction romantic drama The Time Traveler's Wife, and the mystery action-adventure film Sherlock Holmes.
In 2010, Mc Adams appeared in her first star vehicle, the comedy Morning Glory.
In 2015, her highest profile roles were in the second season of the HBO crime drama True Detective, and as journalist Sacha Pfeiffer in the drama Spotlight.
For the latter, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
In 2005, she starred in the romantic comedy Wedding Crashers, the psychological thriller Red Eye, and the comedy-drama The Family Stone.
Gosling, 27, and Mc Adams, 31, began dating shortly after wrapping the romantic 2004 film . While reps are staying tight-lipped on the state of Gosling and Mc Adams’s relationship, the couple reportedly held hands during the meal, according to a Canadian gossip Web site.
The pair started hanging out again in July when Mc Adams turned up to watch Gosling make his DJ debut at Hollywood hotspot Green Door lounge.
“They talked when he was away from the deejay stand,” says a friend.
Ryan Gosling made his triumphant return to the red carpet a couple months ago while promoting his film The Big Short, and the actor showed up to the Golden Globes on Monday to help support the movie, which was nominated for best motion picture, musical or comedy.
Gosling and Mc Adam’s friends confirm that the two are dating again after breaking up around March of 2007. Ryan Gosling and Rachel Mc Adams have gotten back together, a source tells “Their friends are quite pleased that they’re getting back together and are trying to give them space.” Mc Adams recently made an appearance at Gosling’s weekly deejay gig at Green Door lounge in Hollywood.
