We have some clients here that dont update when cached exchange mode is on, When i disable cached exchange mode it works but we want it on.Use Cached Exchange Mode to work with items in your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox even when your network connection is slow or unavailable.Another issue that probably is caused by this updating, is that the user cannot receive any new incoming mail. To receive all the new emails he must close outlook and open it again. So everytime he wants to see the new emails he must reopen Outlook. For example, when you use a fast connection, Office Outlook 2007 copies the header, body, and attachments of an email item from the email server to your computer. When a slower connection is selected, only headers are automatically downloaded.
This is only effecting 1 user out of 5 and the other 4 aren't having any issues and all 5 machines are configured the same.
Cached Exchange Mode enables a better experience when you use an Exchange account.
In this mode, a copy of your mailbox is saved on your computer.
By default, 12 months of your email is available offline, but you can control how much mail is kept offline.
Top of page Shared folders include Exchange Public Folders, Share Point folders, or another person's Exchange folders when you’re using Delegate Access.
If you work offline, whether by choice or due to a connection problem, your data is still available to you instantly wherever you are.
